General Statement

The CEDUNET Resource Library is committed to protecting the privacy of registered users and visitors to our facilities and Web site. The privacy of the CEDUNET Resource Library registration records is protected under the provisions of the New Zealand Privacy Act.

In order for the CEDUNET Resource Library to process your transactions, certain personal information is required and collected. The Library does not give, share, sell or transfer any personal information to any third party except to meet your specific request to download from the library or to publish resources in the Library, or unless required to do so by law.

Personal Information Collected

When you choose to provide personal information to us to conduct a library transaction, we require only the minimum amount of personal information required to process your request. Examples of personal information that may be required to process a library transaction include:

E-Mail List Subscription

An e-mail letter with latest announcements from the CEDUNET Resource Library is only sent to those users who have specifically requested to join the CEDUNET Resource Library mailing list, by checking the tick box on their on-line account registration form, or by a specific e-mail request from the user.

At any time, should the user wish to unsubscribe from the Library’s mail list, they can do so by sending such request to the CEDUNET contact e-mail address.
